The client has come to you to get a service and I am there to provide a service. but as a LMT you have to expect and accept it and not pass judgement. Yes people have back acne, hairy moles, scaly feet, etc. as another mentioned after a while they are just bodies. There really aren't too many "gross" people. It is a great career! I pretty much pick the days and hours I want to work, if I'm not comfortable with a client or think they have other intentions, I can refuse to work on them and that's my decision to make. Have only worked on 4 obscenely obese women out of 1000 or so massages. I am fortunate in that I work at a high end day spa in a "new money" Northern suburb of Dallas, and 98% of my clients are young to middle aged women.
